Byron Bay Social Media is a social enterprise with a mission to help government, business and not for profits harness the transformative power of social media for social good.

We also aim to help build connected empowered communities.

We believe that connected communities are resilient communities. Not just resilient from a disaster perspective, but also from a social capital, sustainability and economic perspective. Locally, nationally and globally, we become stronger through our connectedness.

In helping build connected communities we aim to also help remove barriers to digital inclusion and empower the disadvantaged and marginalised.

Over 50% of profits will be returned to serve the Mission.

This will be done through:

• Donations to not for profit technology innovation initiatives related to our mission
• Pro bono services for social change projects and initiatives related to our mission
